The 2-1 surprise result at Anfield will give Barnsley hope as Avram Grant's side, who knocked out Huddersfield in the last 16, travel to Oakwell.
Manchester United have again been drawn at home and again to a Premier League side. They host Portsmouth, while at least one side from outside the top flight will be in the semi-finals after Bristol Rovers were drawn at home to West Brom, having knocked out Southampton in the fifth round.
Sheffield United or Middlesbrough will host Cardiff .
